After a successful year of fast-pitch softball across the area, several players were informed earlier this week that they will get one more game in their respective uniforms, as All-State players.

After a successful year of fast-pitch softball across the area, several players were informed earlier this week that they will get one more game in their respective uniforms, as All-State players.

The annual Oklahoma High School Fast Pitch Softball Association All-State lists were released this week, with numerous schools being represented throughout the area. 

This years All-State games will be played on June 8 at Oklahoma Christian University in Edmond. 

There were a total of three players named All-State on the Middle West roster, as Lone Grove’s Shelby Stevenson and Maci McMurtrey were each named as starters for the team. 

Davis’ Lauren Son also earned All-State honors as she was named as a reserve player for the Middle West team. 

The Lady Wolves made it to the regional tournament this season, after finishing third in district play. 

Lone Grove made it to the state semifinals this season for the second straight year, winning the district title and the programs 14th regional championship. 

A pair of players will be representing the area on the Small West squad, as Ringling’s London Lewis and Turner’s Jaleigh Durst were each named All-State recipients. 

Ringling made it to the regional tournament this season after winning its district championship against Wilson and Waurika in the district tournament at home.
