Rusty Kyle, 55, of McAlester, died Thursday at his home. The family will welcome friends at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, at the Haywood Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Brinkley officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Memorial Park in McAlester.
Pallbearers are Nick Gray, Scott Kyle, Chance Kyle, Teagun Jordan, Braden Lewis, Kyle Walker, Caleb Wampler and Gage Wampler.  Honorary pallbearers are Sam Wampler, Ronnie Nelson, Jeff Caldwell, Joe Andrews, Art Teague, Darrell Teague, Wes Christopher and Ron Hartleroad.
Rusty Kyle was born on Aug. 30, 1963 in Oxnard, Calif. He moved to McAlester from Newcastle four years ago. Rusty was a salesman at Sam Wampler’s Freedom Ford in McAlester. Work was his passion, but in his spare time he enjoyed riding his Harley, doing anything involving cars, and was always tinkering with something, somewhere. He was also active helping with community charities, including Shared Blessings, the Autumn Ball, the Cancer Center and Future Farmers of America. He was married to Judy (Teague) Kyle on June 11, 2005. Rusty had his previous church membership with Goldsby Baptist Church and was currently with the Haywood Baptist Church.
Rusty is survived by his wife, Judy; children, Mindy Teague, Nick Gray, Scott Kyle and Chance Kyle; sisters, Rhonda Christopher and Angela Bush; parents, Ron and Donna Kyle and Virginia VanHorn-Ingraham; grandchildren, Jacey, Kami, Braden, Teagun, Aubrey, Jagger and Keenan. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Wilbur VanHorn.
