Following a thrilling pair of contests Thursday night, the Turner Falcons and Lady Falcons kept things simple Friday night at home.

Both squads managed to come away with convincing victories against Milburn, leaving the Lady Falcons at 2-1 on the season, while the Falcons remain undefeated at 3-0.

Turner will be back in action on Nov. 27 on the road against Healdton with the girls game set to start at 6:30 p.m. and the boys at 8 p.m.

After enduring their first loss of the season against Springer, the Lady Falcons took out some frustration in their contest against Milburn.

Turner raced out to a 20-3 advantage in the first quarter and never looked back as three players scored in double figures Friday night.

In the second quarter, the Lady Falcons went on a 21-8 run to lead 41-11 at the break, before outscoring Milburn 23-6 in the second half.

Miranda Crespo led the Lady Falcons with 15 points followed by Ryleigh Parker with 13 points and Kodi Durst with 11 points.

Baylee Weatherly and Chole Tynes each had eight points in the contest.

It was a record setting night for the Falcons, as they stayed undefeated under first year head coach Jimmy Voight with a blowout victory.

The 93 points in the highest point total the Falcons have scored this season.

Turner outscored Milburn 33-7 in the opening quarter, before taking a commanding 54-18 lead into the locker room at halftime.

The Falcons allowed just 11 points in the second half. 

Tyler Campbell led the Falcons with 19 points in the game followed by Hunter Johnston with 14 points.

Devin Davis added 12 points, with Justice Hartman scoring 10 points for the Falcons.
