The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is reporting a fatality collision that occurred on Wednesday near Kingston.
The collision occurred on state highway 32, approximately 2.7 miles west of the city of Kingston in Marshall County.
The driver of a 2000 Ford Expedition, Ashley Nichole Leslie, 22, of Kingston, was pronounced deceased at the scene by Medical Examiner Investigator Timothy Dwyer.
Leslie was transported by Watts Funeral Home to their facility in Madill.
According to OHP Trooper Alan Murray, Leslie was west bound on highway 32 in a construction zone, when the vehicle departed the roadway to the right. The Trooper reported the driver overcorrected to the left, then the vehicle went into a broadslide to the right, overturned ½ time and struck a tree.
According to the Trooper’s report, the driver was not wearing a seatbelt and airbags did not deploy. The cause of the incident is under investigation.
