An Oklahoma City woman was arrested Monday night on multiple charges, including discharging a firearm from a moving vehicle.
Yanicha Shamonda Coleman, 26, was booked into the Carter County Detention Center at 9:54 p.m. Monday according to the Carter County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the police report filed by APD officer Justin Eastwood, officers responded to the 600 block of I Street NW on a disturbance report Monday night around 9:20 p.m.
Dispatch advised officers that a male and female subject were fighting and a gun shot was heard, according to Eastwood’s report. The officer’s report said both were located and detained, then Coleman was arrested and transported to CCDC.
APD sent charges to the District Attorney’s office including domestic abuse with a dangerous weapon,
feloniously pointing a firearm,
reckless discharging a firearm and discharging a firearm from a moving vehicle.
According to Carter County District Court records, a felony charge of use of vehicle in discharge of weapon was filed as to Coleman Tuesday.
Carter County District Judge Carson Brooks heard the case and set bond in the amount of $50,000. The preliminary hearing for the case is set for Jan. 3.
