Carter County Sheriff Chris Bryant said a Wilson man was arrested Tuesday on a felony warrant.
Payton Ryan Brawley, 20, was booked into the Carter County Detention Center just after noon Tuesday according to CCDC records on the felony charges of first degree robbery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and malicious injury to property over $1,000 and a misdemeanor failure to pay warrant for failure to carry insurance verification.
The charges were filed Monday in Carter County District Court for both Brawley and a 19-year-old Ardmore man, Kelby Ray Warren, according to District Court records.
The charging documents filed in Carter County allege that Brawley and Warren committed the felony of first degree robbery, taking an iPhone 8, along with felony counts of assault and battery with a Ruger 9mm pistol and malicious injury to property.
Warren was arrested Monday evening and made an initial appearance in District Court Tuesday. Bond for Warren was set at $75,000 and a no contact order was issued as to the victim.
Brawley appeared in District Court Tuesday afternoon. According to court records, bond was set at $75,000 for him as well.
