Funeral services for Diana Quick are scheduled for 2 p.m., Wednesday Nov. 28, 2018, at the Emmanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Donny Custar officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Healdton. Visitation will be this evening from 7 to 8 p.m. at Craddock Funeral Home.
Diana Jean Quick was born Jan. 7, 1939, to Hollis and Willie (Smith) Hammond in Healdton. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on Nov. 24, 2018, at the age of 79.
Diana grew up in Wirth, Okla., and attended Dundee schools. She was an active member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church where she developed many friendships which she cherished dearly. Gardening with her husband, Wilbert, was one of her favorite hobbies. Diana was most happy while spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Diana was preceded in death by her parents Hollis and Willie Hammond.
She is survived by her husband, Wilbert Quick of Ardmore; son, Lee Henson and his wife Lynn, of Edmond; daughters, Brenda Walker and her husband Gary, of Springer, and Julie Weatherford of Lone Grove; sons, Wilbert Quick and his wife Olga, Danny Quick and his wife Leslie, Rick Quick and his wife Maggie, all of Edmond; grandchildren, Chris Walker, Chad Henson, Leslie Ann Weatherford, Jami Thompson, Jeromi Sloat, Amanda Stinnett, Louis Weatherford, Jessica Moore, Emily Ballard, Hollie Fancler, Kayla Quick, Daniel Quick, Ellie Quick, Clara Quick, and grandson Adrian; great-grandchildren, Oakley, Italey and Jynesis Brantley, Kashlynn, Logun and Tyler Weatherford, Troy Sloat, Logan McClain, Deshayla and Dekaylie Thompson, and Christopher Steele Walker; sister, Sandra Thompson; brother, H.R. Hammond; along with numerous other great-grandchildren.
Ike Kyle, Ken French, Russell Noland, Max Hoover, Max Morgan and Rusty Scott will serve as pallbearers.
