The Wilson Lady Eagles struggled offensively in their opening round game as they were handed a tough loss against the Ryan Cowgirls.

Wilson was outscored 14-0 in the first quarter, before Ryan went on a 12-2 run to end the first half.

Ryan outscored the Lady Eagles 8-1 in the third quarter, before Wilson ended the game with an 11-7 run in the fourth.

Bethani Ross led the Lady Eagles with six points in the game.

Wilson will play in the consolation bracket today.

Make it three straight wins for the Wilson Eagles.

The boys in black and gold managed to extend their recent winning streak as they claimed a seven point victory over the Thackerville Wildcats Thursday night.

Wilson outscored Thackerville 15-5 in the first quarter, before finishing the first half with a strong 16-6 run.

However, the Wildcats came back with a 16-8 third quarter, before ending the game with a 13-8 fourth quarter.

Shane Honea led the Eagles with 12 points in the game.

Wilson will play in the semifinals tonight at 8:30 p.m. against the Petrolia Pirates.
