Unfortunately, they were given a rude welcome as the Maysville Warriors managed to escape with a 43-39 victory.

Fox held an 11-7 advantage at the end of the first quarter, before taking a 20-15 lead into the locker room for the halftime break.

Maysville made life difficult in the third quarter for the Foxes, outscoring them 19-14.

With one minute left in the game, the Foxes had a one point lead.

However, missed free throws down the stretch ultimately cost the Foxes as they were outscored 9-5 down the stretch.

David Martin led the Foxes with 13 points on the night with Drew Martin adding 12.
