It turns out all the Fox Lady Foxes needed to get their first win of the season was a taste of home.

After struggling at the Chattanooga Shootout to begin their year last week, the Lady Foxes played their first game of the season at the Fox Den Monday night and managed to come away with a convincing 41-28 victory over Maysville, giving them their first win of the season.

Fox outscored the Lady Warriors 16-5 in the opening quarter, before taking a 20-16 lead into the halftime break after Maysville went on an 11-4 run in the second.

However, following the break the Lady Foxes came back strong at both ends of the court, holding Maysville to just four points in the third, while scoring 17 to take a 37-20 lead.

Fox was outscored in the fourth quarter 8-4.
