When it comes to rivalries, there’s not many better than Sulphur against Davis.

These two teams renewed their longstanding feud Tuesday night in the annual Battle of the Arbuckles game which took place at Sulphur.

In the end, it was the Sulphur Bulldogs managing to get a narrow 58-50 victory over the Wolves.

The Bulldogs took the lead in the first quarter, going on a 16-11 run, before taking a 25-23 lead into Sulphur maintained its advantage with a 12-6 third quarter, before finishing the game off with 21 points in the fourth quarter.

Cole Martin scored 19 points to lead the Wolves followed by Dane Parker with 12 points. 

Price Daube led Sulphur with 19 points in the game.

Rock Creek 77 Lone Grove 30 

A road trip to Rock Creek turned out to mean a bad night for the Lone Grove Longhorns on Tuesday as they were handed a tough loss.

Lone Grove found itself down 16-5 in the first quarter, before getting outscored 28-13 before halftime.

The Longhorns struggled offensively in the second half, scoring just 12 points while allowing 29.

Matthew Throneberry led the Longhorns with nine points in the game.

Big Pasture 64 Wilson 37 

It was a rough night for the Wilson Eagles, who were defeated on the road against state ranked Big Pasture.

Wilson was outscored 19-7 in the first quarter, before coming back with a 12-11 run to end the first half.

Big Pasture though responded with 23 points in the third quarter, while holding the Eagles to 13.

In the fourth quarter, the Eagles managed just five points while allowing 11.

Luke Honea led Wilson with 14 points while Logan Schaaf scored eight points. 

Fox 45 Paoli 38 

Less than 24 hours after suffering a heartbreaking defeat at home, the Fox Foxes got back to business Tuesday night with a sound road victory against the Paoli Pugs.

Fox managed to hold a narrow 14-13 advantage at the end of the first quarter, before outscoring the Pugs 12-9 before halftime.

The Foxes went on a 14-11 run in the third quarter to keep the lead, before both teams scored five points in the fourth quarter.

Drew Martin led the Foxes with 22 points in the game.

Ada 52 Madill 47 

Following two straight home wins to close out the Winter Classic tournament over the weekend, the Madill Wildcats were hoping for more magic at Wildcat Fieldhouse Tuesday night.

Unfortunately, the Ada Cougars weren’t in the mood as they managed to leave with a five point win.

Madill held a 13-9 lead after the first quarter, before being outscored heading into the break 14-5.

Another five point quarter in the third proved to be costly as the Cougars scored 16 of their own, before Madill nearly rallied with 24 points in the fourth quarter.

Diego Flores led the Wildcats with 18 points in the game.

Springer 50
Mill Creek 47 

The Springer Cardinals improved to 6-2 on the season after claiming a close three point win against the Mill Creek Bullfrogs on the road Tuesday night.

Springer held a 9-5 lead after the first quarter, before going on a 23-13 run to end the first half. 

Despite being outscored 19-15 in the third quarter, the Cardinals were still in the game at 37-37.

A 13-10 run in the fourth quarter sealed the victory for Springer.

Mickey Hunnicutt led the Cardinals with 20 points followed by Malik Brown with 13 points. 

Healdton 51 Waurika 40 

It was a third straight victory for the Healdton Bulldogs, who claimed a comfortable victory at home against the Waurika Eagles Tuesday night. 

Healdton led 7-5 after the first quarter, before a 14-9 second quarter run kept them in the lead going into the break. 

The Bulldogs managed to outscore the Eagles 30-26 in the second half to claim the victory.
