Allen Ray Tinder, age 56, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2018, in Oklahoma City. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Dec. 21, 2018, at Bud Young Cemetery with Pastor Lynn Harris officiating.
Allen was born in Ardmore, on March 4, 1962, to Norwood and Jerry (Cavner) Tinder. He grew up in Mannsville,  and attended Dickson Schools through the tenth grade. He enlisted in the Oklahoma National Guard and served for six months and was honorably discharged. He worked for Carter County District 1 for five years and took an early retirement due to his health. In his youth, he enjoyed horseback riding and spending time with his dogs. Allen liked to fish and play dominoes in his leisure time. He had given his life to Christ and spent much of his time in devotion to the study of the Living Word.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, and one brother, Gerald Tinder.
Allen is survived by his parents, Norwood and Jerry Tinder, sister, Deborah Huckabaa and husband, Jeff, all of Dickson, and numerous extended family and friends.
