Ardmore officers responding to a disturbance call at a local hospital discovered more than an unruly patient on Christmas morning.
APD Officer Justin Eastwood discovered 28 grams of methamphemine when a bag of the substance allegedly fell from the pocket of Tyler Perry, 25, Ardmore.
According to Capt. Keith Ingle, Perry was allegedly creating a disturbance while seeking treatment from the hospital’s emergency room. Ingle said Perry was attempting to leave but was delayed while the reporting officer assessed the situation.
While being escorted from the premises, Ingle said witnesses claimed to see a baggy fall from Perry’s shorts onto the hospital bed. The baggy allegedly contained 28 grams of meth, which led to Perry being booked into Carter County jail on a charge of drug trafficking.
