David Franklin Sharp, Sr., was born on Oct. 12, 1944 in Ryan, Okla., to the late David Bradley Sharp and Euvelda Juanita (Zornes) Sharp and went to be with his heavenly father on Jan. 10, 2019 at the age 74 years 2 months and 28 days.
 David grew up in both Oklahoma and Texas having been a resident of Ardmore since 1982 moving here from Winfield, Texas. David enjoyed motorcycles, tinkering in his yard, watching the Dallas Cowboys and most of all spending time with his family. He was of the Pentecostal Faith.  David had been a route driver with Wonder Bread. The legacy he lived was for his family and now it is their time to carry it on.
He leaves to cherish his memories a sister, Marie Carter; daughters, Missie Sharp and Crystal Lewis; sons, David Sharp, Jr. and Brad Sharp; a dearest friend, Deborah Faye Sharp; eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and a host of other extended family members. Preceded in death by his parents; sister, Angela Mathews; son, David Dewayne Davidson.
Cremation with care provided by the Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home & Crematory.
