HEALDTON — In their quest to return to the finals of their home tournament, the Healdton Bulldogs needed to start fast Thursday night against Wynnewood.

Thankfully, they did just that.

Healdton opened the game with a 7-0 run and never looked back as the Bulldogs punched their ticket to the semifinals of the Bulldog Bash tournament with a 52-46 victory over the Savages at the Healdton Gymnasium.

Healdton will take on Fox tonight at 8:30 in the semifinals of the tournament.

In the first quarter, the Bulldogs went on a 22-12 run to take control.

However, Healdton managed just two points in the second and fell behind 28-24 at the half.

But in the third, the Bulldogs outscored Wynnewood 10-9, before going on an 18-9 run in the fourth quarter to claim the victory and move to 9-7 on the season.

Colton Pickelsimer led the Bulldogs with 16 points followed by Jessei Pittman with 11 points and Isaac Love with 10 points.
