At 113, Kaleb Swinney took on Omar Beceira in the second dual of the night.

Beceira won through a technical fall, after going up 17-2 against Swinney.

Now trailing 11-0, Madill looked to Wylbe Roberts, as he wrestled Kevin Kenny at 120 pounds. Jumping out to an early lead, Kenny was able to hold off Roberts and take the decision 7-3 to give Elgin a 14-0 lead.

In the 126 division, Michael Williams defeated Isaac Eades 3-1 to give the Owls a 17-0 lead.

The slow start continued for the Wildcats as Diego Ortiz defeated Keon Christie by major decision 10-2 , and giving the Owls a commanding 21-0 lead.

Things turned for the Wildcats in the  138 division, as Dylan Mccullough gave his team their first victory of the night with a pin of Tyson Sheffield.

In a hard fought match at 182 pounds, senior Christian Moreno gave the crowd something to cheer for against Logan Glover.

Both wrestlers went back and forth, going all three rounds.

Late in the third, Moreno was trailing 1-0 with less than a minute left, Moreno sealed the victory with a takedown to go up 3-1, following an escape moments earlier, tying the team score at 27-27.

After wheeling off four victories in a row to tie the dual, the Wildcats could not keep the momentum going.
