After making another long trip to Purcell Saturday morning, the No. 16 Plainview Lady Indians decided to bring some hardware back with them.

Plainview managed to take down Mount Saint Mary in the Consolation Championship game of the Heart of Oklahoma tournament 61-31, moving them to 14-3 on the season.

Plainview took control early, leading 16-3 after the first quarter.

Things picked up before halftime, as the Lady Indians went on a 19-9 run to lead 33-12 going into the locker room.

Despite the Lady Rockets scoring 12 points in the third quarter, the Lady Indians were one step ahead as they scored 18 points to keep their lead.

Mount Saint Mary managed to outscore Plainview 9-8 in the fourth quarter.

Anna Simmons led the Lady Indians with 16 points followed by Amiya Howard with 10 points.

Reagan Chaney and Peyton Jones each added nine points in the victory for Plainview. 

Plainview is at Tishomingo Tuesday night beginning at 6:30 p.m.
