When the Turner Falcons and Fox Foxes met earlier this season at the South Central Conference tournament, the game turned into a high-scoring affair which went the way of the Foxes.

Tuesday night was no different on either outcome.

Fox managed to once again get the better of the Falcons, winning 62-51 at the Fox Den. 

At the end of the first quarter, Fox led 20-16, with the lead expanding to 39-30 going into the halftime break.

Turner managed to outscore Fox 15-14 in the third quarter to make it a 53-45 deficit going to the fourth, but the Falcons were outscored 9-6 down the stretch.

Luke O’Dell led Turner with 11 points followed by Carlo Crespo and Tyler Campbell with 10 points apiece. 

David Martin led Fox with 24 points followed by Aaron Bassett with 11 points.

Fox will play Wilson in the opening round of the district tournament Friday night with the winner meeting Maysville at Fox High School.

Turner will take on Thackerville Friday night at 8 p.m. at Velma-Alma with the winner meeting the Comets in the district finals.
