In their final tune up before the playoffs, the Healdton Lady Bulldogs got a much needed confidence boost with a narrow win at Marietta Tuesday nigh by a score of 35-33.

In their final tune up before the playoffs, the Healdton Lady Bulldogs got a much needed confidence boost with a narrow win at Marietta Tuesday night by a score of 35-33. 

The Lady Indians led 7-6 at the end of the first quarter, before Healdton stormed back to lead 17-14 going into the break.

Marietta made things interesting going to the fourth quarter after a 7-6 run in the third put them within one at 21-20, before Healdton managed to ice the game with a 14-13 fourth quarter.

Toriauna Douglass led Marietta with 12 points followed by Kate Bone with seven points. 

Macey Howell led Healdton with 14 points followed by Brynli Tucker with seven points. 

Marietta will begin the Class 3A playoffs Saturday night at home at 6:30 p.m. against Tishomingo, while Healdton will play Allen in the first round of the Class 2A district tournament Friday night at 6:30 p.m. at Allen High School.
