The No. 19 Plainview Indians will certainly have more than their fair share after Tuesday night.

Plainview matched its second highest offensive output of the season with 80 points, as the Indians rolled past the Dickson Comets on Senior Night at the Dickson Gymnasium by a score of 80-59.

The victory moved the Indians to 15-6 on the season.

However, early on it was the Comets who had the early surge of momentum as they led 20-19 following the first quarter.

But the Indians quickly found their groove with a 17-10 run before halftime to grab the advantage at 36-30.

Plainview put the game away with a 25-11 run in the third quarter, before finishing the game off in the fourth.

Blake Nowell led the scoring for Plainview with 20 points followed by Devin Jones and Taylon Chambers each with 14 points for the Indians.

Charvis Wright led the Comets with 11 points followed by Hunter Palesano with 10 points.

Plainview will host McLoud in the district finals Saturday night at 8 p.m. while Dickson will travel to No. 1 Kingston at the same time in their respective district finals matchup.
