With the start of the playoffs Saturday night, the No. 5 Sulphur Lady Bulldogs decided to keep things as easy as possible.

With the start of the playoffs Saturday night, the No. 5 Sulphur Lady Bulldogs decided to keep things as easy as possible.

The end result was a comfortable victory over Henryetta in the district finals at the Sulphur Gymnasium, as the Lady Bulldogs won 90-47 to win the district title.

Sulphur moved to 22-2 on the season, and will move into the winners bracket of the regional tournament where the Lady Bulldogs will take on either Spiro or Okmulgee Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. at Henryetta High School. 

In the first quarter, the Lady Bulldogs came out on fire with 26 points, holding Henryetta to just 13 for the frame. 

The Lady Bulldogs kept up the pressure in the second as they again scored 26 points, holding their opponents to just 11 before halftime.

Sulphur put the game out of reach with an 18-14 third quarter run, before finishing the game off strong with a 20-9 fourth quarter.

Payton Row led Sulphur with 19 points on the night followed by Abby Beck with 14 points and Makella Mobly and Mishayna Gilmore each with 13 points.
