While February might be centered around Valentine’s Day and other festivities, the Oklahoma Outlaws Cheer and Tumble Gymnasium centered their February calendar around winning hardware at various competitions.

A total of six teams went to the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Nationals competition which was held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Feb. 2nd.

The Mighty Mini’s squad claimed first place overall, as well as high point grand champions and a gold bid to the U.S. Finals competition.

Youth Inspire won first place out of nine teams in a very tough division, while the Junior Strength team won first place, high point grand champions and a bid to the U.S. Finals competition.

Other teams placing at the competition included Junior Believe (3rd), Senior Legacy (1st), and Senior Coed Tumbling who won first place as well as Best Tumbling. They also had the third highest score out of the entire competition. 

Five out of the six teams who competed in Arlington had their highest scores of the season with zero deductions. 

Earlier in the month of January, there was more success to be had for the Oklahoma Outlaws as a total of four teams traveled to Oklahoma City for Redline’s Oklahoma City National Competition at the Cox Convention Center. 

Making their debut on the grand stage was the Special Abilities team comprised of several special athletes from across the area.

Also making their debut was the Tiny Show team, who also competed at the event.

The Mighty Mini team won first place overall in their respective division, while the Junior Believe team won first place and grand champions, with the highest score out of the division.

Next up for the Oklahoma Outlaws will be the NCA Nationals Competition on March 1-3 in Dallas. 

A total of four teams will be attending the competition representing the Oklahoma Outlaws.

The gymnasium will be hosting a special send-off performance on Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. for friends and families as well as the public who wish to  to come watch their routines at the Oklahoma Outlaws Gymnasium in Ardmore.
