Ruth Ann was escorted to her Heavenly home on March 1, 2019, in Oklahoma City. She was born to Cleo Cecile Fryer and Hugh Gene “Spud” Johnson on Oct. 13, 1947, in Duncan. She attended Healdton Public Schools where she graduated from in 1965; that same year she married Larry D. Harris. They raised two children, Michelle and Micheal, before eventually divorcing in 1990.
Later that decade she married Keith M. McGahey of Ardmore.
She held a wide variety of jobs during her lifetime—from being the manager of a Meat Market in Odessa, Texas, to a medical billing specialist with the Healdton Hospital and a regional home health agency before cardiovascular complications permanently disabled her.  Ruth was raised in the First Baptist Church of Healdton where she professed her faith in Jesus Christ and was baptized.
She loved fishing with her Mom and Dad, dancing with her grandpa, scuba diving, and swimming with her family. She projected a love of life and became known as someone who persevered despite ongoing health issues. Her pride and joy were her three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Hugh Gene. She is survived by her mother Cleo of Denver City, Texas, and her two children Michelle Harris Barnes and her husband, David of Ardmore and Micheal Friesland Harris and his husband Keith of McMinnville, Ore. She is survived by her siblings Hughline Reynolds of Ft. Worth, Texas, Connie Lozano and her husband, Victor of Denver City, Texas; three grandchildren, Thomas Barnes of Portland, Ore., Shelby Barnes of Ardmore and Issac Barnes of Ardmore; significant other Terral Stephenson of Healdton. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Victor Lozano, David Barnes, Clyde Folsom, Keith Harris, Cody Barrett and Issac Barnes.
