A gathering of remembrance for Larry Ray Hartsell, 76, has been set for 2 p.m. Saturday, March 9, 2019, in the Centennial Chapel of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home and Crematory. Rev. Derek Crawford, pastor of Mary Niblack Road Baptist Church will officiate.
Larry was born July 8, 1942, at Los Angeles, to the late Claude Lewis Hartsell and Ana Mae King Hartsell. He was a graduate of Muleshoe High School, the class of 1960.  Larry passed away March 7, 2019, at his rural residence, surrounded by his loving family.  
Larry came to Ardmore from Petersburg, Texas, some 45-years ago. He was a member of the Mary Niblack Road Baptist Church, the Elks Lodge and had been a route salesman for the Nabisco Company.
Survivors include his wife Kathy Gray Hartsell of the home; two sons  Richard Hartsell and Karen Mannis and Robert and Jan Hartsell, daughter Ronda and Curtis Edwards; grandchildren Jami and Justin Ellis, Ashton Hartsell and fiancé Luke Betterton, Tyler Hartsell and Raigan Miller, Kimber and Robert Esquibel, Kayla and Trey VanZandt and Krista Edwards; great-grandchildren Zane Ellis (best friend) and Jaina Esquibel; sisters Carolyn and Buddy Brockett, Janie and Charles Bownds, Betty (Hartsell) Herman and many other extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made in Larry’s name to Cross Timbers Hospice.
