While conditions might not have been picture perfect for golf on Friday, the Dickson Lady Comets sure made it look like the complete opposite.

Three Lady Comets golfers finished in the top-10 of the individual standings as Dickson rolled to victory in the Lady Comet Invitational tournament, which was held at the Lake Murray Golf Course.

Dickson finished with a team total of 369, led by first place finisher Maisie Liddell with a 75, followed by teammate Parker Garrett who carded a 90, finishing second overall.

Brylie Dewitt finished ninth overall for Dickson with a 100, with Baylie Hughes at 104, and Machelle Woods at 116. 

Madison Cimo also represented Dickson as an individual player, finishing with a 132.

Sulphur’s Lady Bulldogs also competed in the tournament, as they finished with a 466 team total.

Jordan Goodman carded a 103, with Kaytee Waters at 112, Emilee Handy at 119 and Genevieve Dakour at 132.

Madill’s Lady Wildcats also competed in the tournament, as they totaled 526 for the day.

Moreno Belen carded a 124 to lead Madill, with Molly Coleman at 129, Bethany Effinger at 135, and Maddison Grant at 138.

Bethany Phillips also played, but had to withdraw before her score could be credited.
