For their efforts this season, several area wrestlers were named to the 2018-19 All-Ardmoreite wrestling team.

Representing the Madill Wildcats on the team will be Dylan McCullough, Damian Ramirez, Colt Crowson, Cody Tweety and Griffon Williams.

McCullough finished the year as a state qualifier and a 26-7 record.

Ramirez made the state tournament and had a record of 24-12.

Crownson won the bronze medal in the 4A 160 weight class, and finished the year 29-6.

Tweedy was a state qualifier with a 29-10 overall record.

Griffon Williams, placed fourth in the 4A 285 pound division and finished the year 29-8.

Plainview will be represented by Jeston Gilliam who finished with an overall record of 30-10 in his freshman season.

The Davis Wolves will have two representatives on the All-Ardmoreite squad.

Cooper Webb won his second consecutive 3A 285 lbs state title, and finished the year 33-2.

The second representative for the Wolves is Jesse Gutierrez, who finished the year 25-6 and was a state qualifier.

Sulphur will also have a pair of wrestlers on team which include Trey Kiser and Kolbe Madron. Kiser finished out his wrestling career with the Bulldogs with a 37-9 record qualified for the state tournament, while also finished second in the regional tournament.

Madron finished the year with a 39-10 record and finished in fourth place in the 3A 132 pound division and finished as the 2019 regional champion.
