In preparation for their upcoming district tournament, the Plainview Lady Indians were hoping to gather some momentum Tuesday against Blanchard on the road.

Unfortunately, the Lady Lions didn’t get the memo, as they handed Plainview an 11-3 defeat in five innings.

Blanchard scored five runs in the first inning, before scoring three more in the second.

Taryn Martin and Tatum Brewster combined to put Plainview on the board in the third with an RBI single and RBI double respectively.

Plainview got one run in the fourth, but the offense couldn’t produce anymore runs.

The Lady Indians will be at Lexington along with the Dickson Lady Comets on Thursday for their respective district tournament.
