Funeral services for Kathryn Arnold are scheduled at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Craddock Memorial Chapel with Dr. David Daniel and Rev. Ronnie Elmore officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. 

Kathryn was born June 22, 1933, in Berwyn, Okla., to Newton M. and Estella (Little) Brock.  She passed this life on May 12, 2019, at her home in Ardmore. She was an Ardmore High School graduate and attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University. She and Cecil A. “Andy” Arnold were married on Sept. 27, 1952, at her parents’ home in Ardmore.

She and Andy started out running the Arnold General Store in Springer in 1953. Around 1969, they moved to Ardmore and started E-Z Shop Food Stores. They both loved to travel and had many happy times spent at their lake house with the whole family at Solders Creek. 

Serving as Pallbearers will be Mike Oxford, Josh Fowler, Scott McMillan, Andy Davis, Kris Henson and Kalie Davis. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Hisey, Dr. Garland Clay, Mark Littlechild, Jerry Elmore and Winifred Curry. 

She is survived by her husband of the home, Cecil A. “Andy” Arnold; two daughters, Andrea Pittman of Ardmore, and Karen Oxford and her husband Mile, of Ardmore; grandchildren, Andy Davis, Hillary Henson, Staci McMillan and her husband Scott, Jaime Pittman; and six great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Newton M. Brock and Estella Little Brock; and son-in-law, Jack Pittman.  

Memorials may be left to the Gene Autry Methodist Church, 833 Highway 53A, Gene Autry, Ok. 73436 and the Ardmore Animal Care, 321 Carol Brown Blvd. Ardmore, Ok. 73401 or the First United Methodist Church, 501 West Main, Ardmore.
