After another successful year of girls golf, the time has come to reveal who is among the best of the best for the All-Ardmoreite girls golf team.

The 2019 edition of the squad sees multiple area schools represented, which include Plainview, Dickson, Lone Grove, Turner, and Sulphur.

All of these individuals will be honored as part of the third annual Best of the Arbuckles Preps Banquet which will be held on May 21st at the Ardmore Convention Center.

Representing the 3A State Champion Plainview Lady Indians will be Reagan Chaney and Adeline Norton.

Chaney was the 3A individual state champion this season, and had a total of seven top-five finishes throughout the season this year. She finished outside the top-five only once.

Adeline finished third this season at the state tournament, and was an All-State selection. She won the pre-state tournament this season as part of her seven top-five finishes. She also finished outside the top-five of the individual standings just once.

Norton will continue her golfing career, as she follows in the footsteps of PHS head coach Taylor Howard as joins the women’s golf team at Oklahoma City University.

Representing the Class 3A third placed Dickson Lady Comets will be Maisie Liddell and Parker Garrett.

Liddell capped off a stellar senior season by placing in the top-10 of the individual standings at the state tournament, while winning multiple tournaments during the season, she was also in the top-10 of the individual standings in every tournament she played in the year.

As a sophomore, Garrett made her mark for the Lady Comets as she competed at the state tournament this season, her second straight year of doing so. She registered multiple top-five finishes for Dickson in the campaign.

The Lone Grove Lady Horns will be represented by Madison Anderson and Megan Biber.

Anderson finished 16th this season at the Class 3A state tournament, and finished with five top-10 finishes in the individual standings this year.

Anderson was also a member of the 2018-19 All-Ardmoreite Girls Basketball team this season.

As for Biber, she totaled three top-10 finishes this season, and placed 17th overall at the state tournament.

Sulphur’s Jordan Goodman finished her career as a four-time state qualifier as an individual, where she finished 24th this season at the state tournament.

Goodman made history last year as she became the first athlete to ever make both the All-Ardmoreite girls golf and cheer teams in the same calendar year. She repeated the feat this season.

The Turner Lady Falcons are represented by Ryleigh Parker and Jade Dobson.

Parker and Dobson were the top players on the Lady Falcons this season as they competed in the Class 2A regional tournament.

Parker was also a member of the 2018-19 All-Ardmoreite Girls Basketball Team this season.
