Services for Kaley Paige Hartman, of Burneyville, are set for 11 a.m. Friday, May 17, 2019, at the Red River Ranch Rodeo Arena, Burneyville, with Robert Schaffer and Pastor Ryan Eakins officiating. Interment will follow at the Hartman Family property, Jimtown, under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
Born July 6, 2001, in Ardmore, the daughter of Clint and Farrah (Journeycake) Hartman passed from this life on Monday, May 13, 2019, at the age of 17.
Kaley shared her positive disposition with a smile and laugh to anyone she met. Her love of the outdoors and all animals will keep a smile in the hearts of all who knew her. Kaley was involved in softball, basketball, FFA, 4-H in Love County as a county officer, homeschool president, Dutch Oven “Dream Team” member and SEDAT. Her rodeo participation led to being named Ringling Rodeo Queen 2014, MRCA membership and TJRA member, where she competed in barrels, poles, goat tying and break away roping, winning a goat tying saddle and several buckles. Kaley was a volunteer with Cross Timbers Hospice as well as a veterinary assistant with aspirations of becoming a veterinarian. She enjoyed showing both cattle and pigs. Kaley competed as a Turner Golf Team member and her Popie always said she could outdrive any man on the golf course!
She was preceded in death by two great-grandmother’s, Juanza Madole and Edith Journeycake.  
Kaley is survived by her parents; two brothers, Cody Hartman and his fiancé Bailey Baus, and Ty Hartman; three nieces, Zoey, Karli and Kimber; grandparents, Jack and Janeane Hartman and Mike and Susan Journeycake; great-grandparents, Shafter and Barbara Weaver; aunts and uncles, Tonya (Naw Na) Hartman, Jacque Hobson and husband Mike, Shane Journeycake and wife Jennifer, Cody Farmer, Rachel Thompson and husband James, Bonny Ward and husband Jimmy; many other great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins and a broad list of friends that included two special people in her life Terry and Leona Pierce.
Serving as casket bearers are Wesley Burton, Crook Burton, Cutter Burton, Tyler Wade, John Logan McNeill and Tyler Whitmore.  Honorary bearers are Jarek Hennington, Marley Nance, Laura Hurst, Turner Class of 2019, Love County 4-H members, MRCA members and Southern Plains Animal Hospital.
Memorial contributions can be made to Love County 4-H.
Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home.
