Funeral services for Terry Robert Inselman, will be Saturday afternoon, June 22, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.  in the Harvey-Douglas Centennial Chapel with Reverend Bruce Kirby officiating.  Burial with military honors will be at Woodford Cemetery.
A time of visitation and support for the family will be held Friday evening at the funeral home from 6 until 7:00 p.m.
The son of the late Robert and Clydean McBride Inselman, Terry was born April 28, 1957, in Ardmore, and passed away June 18, 2019, at a local hospital.
Terry worked several oilfield related jobs from floor hand to operator before joining the U.S. Navy in 1975. He was honorably discharged in 1977. He returned to Ardmore, where he married the former Karen Sue Gibson on May 25, 1977.  He continued his career in the oilfields working for his dad at Inselman Drilling Fluid, and the past ten years, he worked for Sutherland Well Service.
Terry was a big kid at heart. He loved electric model trains and devoted an entire room to his train layout. He was a member of the Model Railroad Club.  He also enjoyed fast cars, and raced on the circle dirt track and also the drag strip. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, boating and camping.
Terry is survived by his wife Karen of the home, son Kevin Inselman and his wife Kristi, grandchildren Hunter and Taylor Inselman, his brother Jerry Inselman and wife Gwenda, sister Sally Clowser and husband Jim; his mother-in-law Neta Gibson and several nieces and nephews.  His sister Sheila Lynn Inselman preceded him in death.
Serving as bearers will be Marty Jones, Mike McKee, Larry, Mark, Shawn and Chris Gibson.  Honorary bearers will be Hunter Inselman, Mike Dickson and Billy VanBuskirk.
