Jackie Ray McClaine, son of the late Samuel Edward McClaine and Mary Nell (Loard) Rainey, was born Aug. 24, 1955, at Gene Autry. Affectionately called “Jack” and “Bubba” by his family and friends, Jack grew up in Ardmore, where he graduated from Ardmore High School, the class of 1973. A member of the A.H.S. football team, he held the record for the largest member of the team at 6’4’’ and 280 pounds.
A resident of Ardmore and Lone Grove all of his life, Jack had worked as a young man in the oilfield, and most recently was owner and operator of The Office bar in Lone Grove and the Main Street Lounge of Ardmore. In his leisure time he enjoyed watching TV.
Jack is survived by four sisters, Vicky Woodburn, Lisa Conway, Debbie Ousley and her husband, David, and Pam Raby; a special friend, Barbara Stubbs, brother-in-law, Tommy Tucker, numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and his canine companion, Bella. Also Mary E. McClaine, the mother of his son, Justin Ray McClain, that preceded him in death.
Jack passed away July 16, 2019 at the Mercy Hospital of Healdton, at the age of 63 years, 10 months and 22 days.
