This season, the Madill Wildcats football team will be enjoying some new field turf at Blake Smiley Stadium.

While it might be coincidence or fate, the Wildcats will certainly have plenty of opportunities to get used to their new field.

Madill’s 2019-2020 football schedule will see the black and gold go on the road just three times all season, as the Wildcats will have to once again navigate through a difficult 4A schedule.

Sept. 6 will be the opening night for the Wildcats as they will travel to Calvin Agee Field for a matchup with last seasons Class 3A state runner-up the Sulphur Bulldogs, before the home opener the following week against Lone Grove on Sept. 13.

Homecoming will take place on Sept. 20 against Dickson, before the Wildcats will open district play on the road against Cushing on Sept. 27.

The first two weeks of October will see the Wildcats face off against Tuttle and Harrah, before Blanchard will come to Madill for the annual Fall Break contest on Oct. 17.

McCloud will mark the next to last home game of the regular season on Oct. 25, before Senior Night will be held on Nov. 1 against Bethany.

The Wildcats will end the regular season on Nov. 8 against Tecumseh on the road.

All games will be at 7:30 p.m. for kickoff times.
