An Ada motorcycle driver had a fatal encounter with a farm animal early Wednesday morning.
James E. Wilson, 38, was driving a 2018 Harley Davidson motorcycle on State Highway 19, 10 miles west of Ada in Pontotoc County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Around 1:40 a.m., Wilson struck an 800-pound black cow that was standing in the roadway. According to the report, Wilson died on scene as a result of his injuries.
Wilson’s condition was apparently normal at the time of the collision and the weather was reportedly clear.
