While Texas might be known as the Lone Star State, the Ringling Lady Blue Devils cheer team decided to make it the Blue Devil State this past weekend at UCA Camp.

Ringling’s talented cheer squad participated in the annual UCA Camp, which took place at the Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine, Texas, where the Lady Blue Devils came away with multiple awards, including an All-American honor for one of their members.

Sydney Southward was the lone member of the squad to be named to the prestigious status as an All-American at the camp.

As a team, the Lady Blue Devils won first place in the camp sideline cheer competition, won the top banana the second night of camp, as well as blue ribbon honors on their sideline, dance, and cheer evaluations.

The squad also received a spirit stick both nights of the camp.

Squad captain Steelie Price was also given a Pin It Forward Leadership award at the camp.
