The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is reporting that a 58-year old Marietta man died late Wednesday night after being ejected from a vehicle in a single-car crash on Highway 32, east of Marietta.
According to reports, Kenneth D. Hembree was riding as a passenger in a 2004 Ford F150 when an unknown incident caused him to be ejected from the vehicle. He died on the scene due to injuries he sustained.
According to the report, the driver was also ejected from the vehicle. The driver was transported to Plano Medical Center in Plano, Texas and later treated for back and hand injuries before being released.
According to the report, the cause of the crash is still under investigation and seatbelts were not in use by either occupant.
