A traffic stop resulted in three individuals being taken into custody Sunday evening.
Ardmore Police Department Sgt. Brice Woolly said officers pulled over a 26-year-old man from Ardmore at the 900 block of W. Broadway St. SW for failing to wear his seatbelt.
In addition to receiving a ticket, Woolly said the driver is now facing complaints for possession of methamphetamine. Two other passengers in the vehicle were also taken into custody.
A 21-year-old woman from Ardmore was arrested for an outstanding Carter County misdemeanor warrant, Woolly said. And a 26-year-old female from Ringling was allegedly in possession of meth and drug paraphernalia, in addition to having outstanding Carter and Jefferson County misdemeanor warrants.
Woolly said police found a little over a gram of methamphetamine in total.
