The Marshall County Sheriff’s office has released the names of the suspect and three victims involved in a triple homicide Thursday, Aug. 22.
The suspect, 56-year-old Kevin Moseley, reportedly shot his wife, Monica, and his two stepchildren at their Marshall County home located off Page Rd. in Powell, according to Sheriff Danny Cryer.
The two children were Madill students Jonathan Horath, 16, and Stephanie Horath, 12.
Cryer said the motive in this incident appeared to be domestic violence and interviews with family and friends revealed some possible marital issues between the couple.
Deputies were able to locate Moseley later Thursday evening in Abilene, Texas, where he was taken into custody and is currently awaiting extradition back to Marshall County. Moseley is facing three charges for murder, Cryer said.
“We appreciate people from both state and out-of-state agencies for their cooperation,” Cryer said. “Without their help we could not have gotten this dangerous person locked up.”
