While three straight losses might not have been the best way to end the Murray County Bash over the weekend, the Davis Lady Wolves had the perfect bounce back routine on Monday.

Kobee Jones tossed a three-inning no hitter as Davis rolled to a convincing 13-0 victory on the road against Little Axe, bringing them to 8-5 overall and 3-1 in district play.

Tuesday afternoon was scheduled to be another district contest for the Lady Wolves against Community Christian, but the game was postponed due to unplayable field conditions.

Davis scored four runs in the top of the first inning, before adding five in the second, and four in the third to seal the victory.

Kourtney Randell led the offense for the Lady Wolves, going 3-for-3 at the plate with four total RBI’s while Lynsey Martin was 2-for-3 with two runs scored and two RBI’s along with a double.

Gracie Eggleston and Alexis Barnes each had an RBI in the game for Davis.

Madi Merrell finished 2-for-2 with three runs scored, which included a pair of doubles in the game.

Jones finished with two strikeouts on the mound in three innings of work.
