For the Davis Lady Wolves though, they haven’t had just one shutout this week, they’ve had three.

Thursday afternoon the Lady Wolves completed a solid week of district play with a pair of run-rule victories at home against Crooked Oak by scores of 12-0 and 15-0, moving them to 10-5 overall and 5-1 in district play.

Davis is back in action on Tuesday at home against Ada. 

in the opening contest, Davis ended things quickly in three innings as the Lady Wolves scored four runs in all three innings, while holding Crooked Oak to just one hit.

Gracie Eggleston finished the game 2-for-3 with three RBI’s while Madi Merrell was 2-for-3 with three runs scored and two RBI’s. Alexis Barnes finished 2-for-2 with two runs scored and two RBI’s.

Jolee Grinstead finished 2-for-2 with two RBI’s while Lynsey Martin had a run scored and one RBI.

Lexi Ryan also went 2-for-2 with two runs scored.

Kourtney Randell got the win on the mound, throwing three innings. She allowed one hit with five strikeouts.

Game two was just as one-sided, as the Lady Wolves registered a 12-run first inning followed by a three run second.

Gracie Eggleston had a solid game going 3-for-3 with three runs scored and five total RBI’s, while Alexis Barnes finished 2-for-2 with two runs scored and a pair of RBI’s.

Lynsey Martin was also 2-for-2 with a run scored and two RBI’s, while Madi Merrell, Jolee Grinstead, Ayanna Miller and Kobee Jones each had one RBI. 

Charlee Donaho and Kourtney Randell combined to throw a no-hitter on the mound as the pair finished with four total strikeouts.
