New evidence in a lewd molestation case has led to charges being filed against an Enid man in the 20th District Court.
According to court documents filed Sep. 3 and signed by District Attorney Craig Ladd, Evan Loren Granger is accused of “knowingly and intentionally” forcing a minor child to perform oral sodomy on him between the months of Jan. and Dec., 2010 in Carter County.
Granger was 37 years old at the time of the incident and the child was under the age of 10, according to court documents.
At the time of the initial delayed disclosure from the victim in 2016, Ladd said there was insufficient evidence to file charges. However, the case was recently strengthened to such a degree that charges could be filed.
Granger is potentially facing imprisonment in the State Penitentiary for life without parole.
