A Kingston resident was reportedly injured in a Marshall County collision after her vehicle defected Thursday morning.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 40-year-old Rhonda Jackson was heading southbound on US70, .8 miles north of Kingston in Marshall County when the accident occurred.
Jackson’s 2000 Buick reportedly crossed the center line and departed the roadway to the left, becoming airborne for 60 feet before striking the ground.
Jackson was transported to Mercy of Ardmore Hospital with arm and leg injuries and later transferred to Mercy of Oklahoma City, the OHP reported.
The cause of the collision is believed to be a defective vehicle and the roadways were clear and dry at the time of the accident.
