Parts of Carter County experienced outages after a bulldozer reportedly ran into a gas line Thursday.
Carter County District Three Commissioner Jerry Alvord said the gas line, located in Fox, was shut off immediately for repair after being struck by a bulldozer. Individuals in Healdton, Wilson, Lone Grove and parts of Ardmore experienced outages as a result of the accident.
Oklahoma Gas & Electric Company was able to repair the line around 2:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 5, and were continuing to flush the line, Alvord said. However, the effected areas should have returned to normal.
