District play this season for the Ardmore Lady Tigers has been an up and down roller coaster.

Tuesday afternoon, they decided to stay on the straight path and walk things off.

Ardmore used a well placed bunt in the bottom of the seventh to win its district doubleheader opener against the Lawton Eisenhower Lady Eagles, winning 10-9 at the Ardmore Softball Field.

The Lady Tigers completed the district sweep in the second game, winning 21-1 in five innings. 

With the game tied at 3-3 after an exciting first inning, the Ardmore Lady Tigers took a 5-3 lead in the bottom of the second when Shakira Smith scored on a throwing error, with Nikayla Coleman scoring on the same error for an inside-the-park home run. 

Makila Case then padded the advantage with an RBI single to left field to make it 6-3.

Eisenhower managed to get one back in the top of the third with one run to make it 6-4.

However, the Lady Eagles managed to grab the lead back in the top of the fourth with five runs to lead 9-6. 

But Ardmore had a response in the bottom of the fourth with Case got an RBI groundout to make it 9-7, before Kalie Douglas tied the game with a two-RBI double to center field.

The Lady Tigers managed to win the game in the bottom of the seventh when Coleman laid down a bunt, which allowed Angelina Bruner to score the game winning run. 

Savannah Marris got the win on the mound for the Lady Tigers.

Ardmore will be back in action Friday at the Durant Tournament which will take place at the Durant Multi-Sports Complex.
