Over the last three games she’s started on the mound, Lone Grove’s Emmy Guthrie has been untouchable, literally.

Monday afternoon, the junior standout pitcher continued her solid run on the mound.

Guthrie tossed her third no-hitter in a row, as the Lady Horns took down Bridge Creek on the road by a score of 4-0, moving them to 17-3 overall and 9-1 in district play.

Lone Grove has now won seven straight games including sweeping this past weekend at the Durant Tournament.

The Lady Horns got on the board in the top of the fourth when Paige Anderson slapped an RBI single to left field, before Noa Dodson doubled the advantage with an RBI single to center.

Dodson struck again with another RBI single in the top of the sixth, before Chloe Pender finished off the scoring for the Lady Horns with an RBI single to left field in the top of the seventh.

Anderson finished the game going 3-for-4 with one run scored and one RBI. 

Dodson was 2-for-3 with two RBI’s in the game.

Pender finished the game going 2-for-4 with one run scored and one RBI in the game.

Guthrie was superb on the mound as she worked seven innings, where she allowed just one walk while striking out 19 batters.

Lone Grove is at home today vs. Chickasha.
