For the second straight game on Tuesday, slow and steady didn’t just set the pace for the Ringling Lady Blue Devils, it won them the game.

Ringling posted a second straight shutout, as the Lady Blue Devils won their 13th game of the season with a 4-0 victory over the Thackerville Lady Wildcats on the road.

Sydney Southward got Ringling on the board in the top of the third with an RBI single to left field which scored Meghan Roberts.

Steelie Price made it 2-0 when she scored on an error later in the inning.

Southward struck again in the top of the fourth when she collected another RBI single, this time scoring Roberts again to make it 3-0.

Karagan Cox sealed the victory for the Lady Blue Devils in the top of the seventh when she scored off an error in center field.

Roberts finished the game going 3-for-4 with a run scored, while Southward was 3-for-4 with two RBI’s.

Price and Cox each finished 2-for-4 with a run scored. 

Roberts also got the win on the mound for the Lady Blue Devils, throwing a complete game. She allowed just two hits with 12 total strikeouts.
