Both the Indians and Lady Indians made their way to Dutch Branch Park in Benbrook, Texas for the fifth annual South Hills Prowl in the Park Invitational.

The Lady Indians nearly came away with the team title as they finished in second overall with 43 points, just behind winners River Oaks Castleberry, who had 40 points. 

Scarlett Williams was the top finisher for Plainview in second overall with a time of 12:40.31, with Madie Turner in seventh overall at 13:16.06, and Alli McAdams in eighth at 13:20.84. 

Katie Wiggs finished 10th overall clocking in at 13:28.41, with Hadyn Hobbs and Jacey Keith in 16th and 17th overall with times of 13:43.83 and 13:45.23 respectively. 

Other finishers for the Lady Indians included Olivia Heller (14:13.76), Emily Butler (14:43.80), Savannah Sauer (15:46.27), Alivia Elliott (16:54.30) and Marla Williams (16:54.30). 

Meanwhile in the boys race, the Indians finished in third overall with 129 points behind River Oaks Castleberry (38) and Stephenville (94). 

Josh Hottell, Ethan Lollman, and Trevor Honeycutt all finished right behind one another in places 14-16th overall with times of 17:34.65, 17:34.85 and 17:44.68. 

Other finishers for the Indians included Carson Orr (19:10.61), Jacob Allen (20:15.76), Kyle Sutherlin (24:15.50), and Colin Neher (24:54.59).
