Guthrie then got in on the action at the plate as she sent a deep line drive to center field in the bottom of the third which scored Chloe Pender to make it 2-0.

Lone Grove managed to get two more runs in the bottom of the fifth when Pender got an RBI double to left field which scored Lexi Meadows, while Guthrie scored Pender on an RBI single to center.

Malea McMurtrey put Lone Grove up 5-0 in the bottom of the sixth when she scored on a wild pitch.
