After surviving their respective districts, four area teams learned on Monday where their regional destinations will lie later this week.

After surviving their respective districts, four area teams learned on Monday where their regional destinations will lie later this week.

The regional pairings were announced by the OSSAA and will begin on Thursday with a double elimination format.

In Class B, the Turner Lady Falcons will be making their return to the regional tournament after a year absence, and will be heading to Cyril.

Turner will be joined by Big Pasture and Asher in the regional tournament. 

The Lady Falcons (12-8) will take on the No. 5 Lady Pirates (24-6) in the opening game of the regional tournament Thursday at noon with the winner meeting either No. 18 Big Pasture (17-6) or No. 13 Asher (13-3) at 6 p.m. the same night.

A loss by the Lady Falcons will have them play at 4 p.m. in an elimination game.

As for the Ringling Lady Blue Devils, they will be heading to Carnegie for their regional tournament.

Ringling (16-10) will take on No. 7 Carnegie (22-7) in the opening game of the tournament at Noon Thursday with the winner meeting either Velma-Alma (20-7) or No. 11 Sterling (21-7) at 6 p.m.

Friday’s games will begin at noon with an elimination game followed by the finals beginning at 2 p.m.

In Class 3A, the Davis Lady Wolves will be heading to Prague for the regional tournament after finishing third in district play this season.

Davis (21-9) will face off with Meeker (17-8) in the second game of the day on Thursday at 2 p.m.

District 3A-1 champion Prague (22-6) will open the tournament against Lindsay (17-11) at Noon.

The Sulphur Lady Bulldogs won’t have far to go for their regional tournament as they were placed in Kingston.

Sulphur (23-6) will face off with Chandler (14-16) in the second game of the tournament at 2 p.m. Thursday with Kingston (20-7) taking on Chisholm (24-12) in the first game of the day at Noon.

The winners will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday night with the losers playing in an elimination game at 4 p.m.

Sulphur has already played against Kingston and Chandler this year.
