A Tishomingo woman is dead following a collision on U.S. Route 377 Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Kendra Parker, 33, of Tishomingo was heading southbound on U.S. 377, 5 miles north of Tishomingo when her 2016 Nissan Altima traveled left of center and struck another driver heading northbound in a MAC dump truck for an unknown reason.
Parker was ejected from her vehicle and pronounced expired at the scene by Johnston County Emergency Medical Service, later confirmed by Medical Examiner John Miller.
The dump truck driver, reportedly sustained no injuries from the collision, according to OHP.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation and the roadways were reportedly clear and dry at the time of the collision.
